"C'est un très bon résultat. Ce nul a un goût de victoire car il nous ouvre pratiquement les portes des huitièmes. Mon équipe a fait un bon match. Nous avons empêché les Togolais de relancer, comme nous l'avions prévu avant la rencontre. Nous avons joué contre une très bonne équipe, ce qui double la valeur de ce résultat".
Paul Sauter, sélectionneur du Togo
"Mon équipe a fait un grand match. Nous avons largement contrôlé la possession de balle et dominé de bout en bout. Nous avons fait de gros efforts, même si c'est la deuxième fois que nous jouons à 17h. C'est difficile d'être à son maximum dans de telles conditions d'humidité et de chaleur. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas su concrétiser nos occasions, ce qui explique ce résultat nul. En tout cas, je tiens à saluer mes joueurs pour les efforts qu'ils ont réalisés".
Reimond Manco, attaquant du Pérou
"On a réussi à obtenir le nul, ce qui est un bon résultat. Je crois qu'on a assuré notre qualification. Le Togo nous a posé plus de problèmes que la Corée. Les joueurs sont très performants dans la circulation de balle et physiquement, ils sont impressionnants. Maintenant, il faut attendre les autres résultats, mais on est en bonne position".
Koami Ayao, défenseur du Togo
"On a bien joué, on s'est beaucoup dépensés, mais on n'a pas pu obtenir un résultat positif. On n'a pris qu'un point. Maintenant, on doit attendre le dernier match pour savoir si on continue notre route ou si on rentre à la maison. On va faire notre maximum, même si au bout du compte, c'est Dieu qui décidera si ça aura été suffisant ou pas".
